About the RTO
Skills Australia Institute (SAI) is a CRICOS Registered Training Organisation. We have been providing training to International students for over 6 Years.
We deliver courses in the areas of Hospitality, Early Childhood Education, Business, ICT Networking, Automotive, Carpentry, Bricklaying & Tiling. We have 3 campuses, 2 based in Perth and 1 in Adealide.
The Opportunity
Due to our ongoing growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Trainer & Assessor – Early Childhood Education and Care to join our friendly team at our East Cannington campus.
The ideal candidate will be supporting the Training and Assessment of Early Childhood Education and Careon a full-time /part-time basis.
The main responsibilities of this role are as follows:
• Training and Assessing the students of CHC30121 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care and CHC50121 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
• Arranging and conducting WBT visits.
• Using our LMS platform to deliver digital content while embedding your own unique/industry-relevant experiences to enrich the learning environment.
• Marking students' assessments and providing quality feedback.
• Ensuring up-to-date Early Childhood Education and Care focused industry currency.
• Complying with industry-specific legislations and the requirements of the VET Quality Framework applicable to the qualification being delivered.
• Accurately recording, tracking, and reporting students’ attendance, results, and unit outcomes.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent).
- CHC30121 - Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- CHC50121 - Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current industry skills/experience in relevant field
- Ability to follow RTO policies & procedures
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Highly organised and strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
