Our head office is located in Osborne Park with a range of offices, training rooms and well-resourced training facilities. Due to continuing expansion, we are searching for our new Trainer and Assessor (Workplace Health and Safety) who is looking to share their knowledge and skills across a range of areas related to WHS - with a focus on the mining industry. This role represents an incredible opportunity for a Perth based role with some travel to interesting sites across WA.
We're looking for a passionate WHS Trainer/Assessor who understands the WHS Act and relevant Regs and can share their knowledge with both new and experienced individuals, values quality in training and assessment, and would add to our great team culture here at Pivot/Mine Training Australia.

The role
We are looking for an experienced and passionate trainer who wishes to share their knowledge to deliver and assess units related to WHS predominantly in our facility in Osborne Park with some additional delivery on site.
If you have a strong background in WHS and have experience in training delivery, enjoy a supportive and friendly workplace, and wish to be Perth based, this may be the next logical step for you!
Areas of training can include:
- Certificate IV in WHS
- WHS Mandatory Risk and WHS Units for DEMIRS
- HSE Rep Training
- First Aid
Your energy and enthusiasm for training together with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills will make you an ideal candidate for this position.
This position may be perfect for you if you have:
- Proven ability to deliver quality training and assessment in WHS
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid digital literacy
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Skills and experience required.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent or currently completing the Qualification.
- Relevant industry experience and qualifications in workplace health and safety training
