ISH24 are Confined Space and Workplace Safety specialists, operating as an RTO (ID 41559) for Confined Space, working at heights, first aid, rescue and other nationally accredited training. We are currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Trainers / Assessors to join the team on a casual basis.
As a continuously growing RTO we are looking to expand our roster of Trainers / Assessors. Eligible candidates will have industry experience and be passionate about training and safety. Volume of work would be dependant entirely on client demand and applicant availability. This opportunity is also suitable for individuals with shift work rosters or looking for additional work in the Training sphere.
Candidate Competency and Experience
We are seeking candidates with competency and experience to train & assess any of the following units:
- RIIWHS202E - Enter and work in Confined Spaces
- RIIWHS204E - Work safely at heights
- MSMWHS216 - Operate breathing apparatus
- MSMWHS217 - Gas test atmospheres
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
- HLTAID014 - Provide Advanced First Aid
- HLTAID015 - Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy
- UETDRMP007- Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
- MSMPER300 - Issue work permits
- MSMWHS201 - Conduct hazard analysis
- CPPFES2005 - Demonstrate first attack firefighting equipment
Courses above range in duration between 1/2 day to 2 days.
Trainers with experience in delivering Rescue Training (specifically disciplines falling within the Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue) and other relevant courses would also be highly regarded. Rescue training courses range between 2 and 8 days.

Preferred candidates do not need to be well-versed in all the above competencies. If your experience specialises in only one of the disciplines listed, submitting an expression of interest is still highly encouraged.
Engagement Locations
This role requires availability for training delivery predominantly in the Greater Bendigo Area, at ISH24 facilities (Bendigo & Goornong) and on client sites.
ISH24 also service clients Victoria-wide and interstate, with possibility for training opportunities requiring travel.
Candidates local to the Bendigo area will be highly regarded.
Essential Requirements, Skills and Qualifications
Essential requirements:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Competencies and proven experience to support ability to deliver training (successful candidates will undergo ISH24 training in-house as part of the trainer/assessor onboarding process)
- Ability to deliver training at ISH24 Training Facilities (Bendigo & Goornong) and on client sites across Victoria & interstate.
To be the right fit for this role, the successful candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Sound time management and problem-solving skills
- Sound administration skills for reporting and maintaining accurate training records
- Flexibility to work in regional and metropolitan locations
- Current driver’s license and own transport
- Ability to provide clear police check and working with children card
- Australian residency with unrestricted work rights
Pay Rate
Pay rate negotiable based on level of experience and training delivery location.
