Position Overview: As an ICT Telecommunication Network Engineering Trainer/ Assessor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of network engineers and professionals. You will deliver engaging lectures, hands-on workshops, and practical exercises to help students develop a deep understanding of telecommunication network principles, protocols, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver curriculum that aligns with industry standards and trends, in the following qualifications,
- ICT50220 – Diploma in Information Technology (Telecommunications Network Engineering)
- ICT60220 – Advanced Diploma in Information Technology (Telecommunications Network Engineering)
- Foster an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, ensuring their academic and personal growth.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in telecommunication technologies and integrate them into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the program's quality and relevance.
- Experience in reviewing, contextualisation, validation, and moderation of assessment tools
Qualifications & Experience :
- A degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Post Graduate Qualification in ICT will be an added advantage.
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40116 or TAE40122
- Demonstrated expertise in telecommunication network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Teaching experience or industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience with sound knowledge of competency-based training
- Passion for fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
