THE OPPORTUNITY Salary: $78,564 - $111,391 per annum pro rata + 11% superTime Fraction: Full Time, 1.0 EFT. Location: Drummond Street, Chadstone campus.WWCC: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining and maintaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check.Position Status: Appointment to 31/12/2024, with the possibility to be extended.Holmesglen’s Centre for Energy and Infrastructure is seeking a qualified trainer to prepare and conduct industry-standard training and assessment for the Electrical Supply Industry in Distribution and/or Underground Distribution at our Drummond Street, Chadstone campus.In this position, you will manage the learning process for apprentices and existing workers using a variety of teaching and assessment strategies appropriate to the diverse learning needs of apprentices and existing workers. The role will also be involved in the validation and continuous improvement of learning and assessment tools to support program delivery.ABOUT YOUCurrent Electrical Supply Industry skills and knowledge and current registration as a lines worker with Energy Safe VictoriaIdeally, experience as a trainer of ESI and VESI programs.Experience in implementing the latest training and assessment strategies to meet student and course requirements.Appropriate lines worker/cable jointer underground qualification.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); orCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units.ABOUT USHolmesglen is a leading education provider, valued by local and international learners, industry and the community.
