About the business and the role
ESI Training and Consulting (RTO #45463) is a specialised training provider serving the needs of the Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) and related industries. Due to continued growth we are looking to place an additional Trainer / Assessor to cover metropolitan and regional locations in the eastern half of Victoria. This role will involve travel to different client locations and would suit a person who can operate independently and enjoys variety in their work.
Job tasks and responsibilities
You will visit clients premises and/or worksites to carry out initial and refresher training and assessment. The role will involve travel to Melbourne Metro and regional areas on a daily basis and will require occasional living away from home. The main office is in Hallam and this will be the base location.
Skills and experience
You should have:
- Relevant experience and qualifications in a related Electrical Supply area (civil/underground, technical/design, auditing, linework or arboricultural)
- Excellent communication and on the job training skills.
- A Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment. If you do not currently have this qualification but have the required industry and communication skills, and are capable of obtaining this qualification, we can discuss how this can be achieved.
- An ability to work independently, plan and problem solve
- An ability to operate Information Technology
- A high level of accuracy in completing documentation
- Familiarity with associated areas such as traffic and first aid would be advantageous
