The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Training Coordinator to Join the People and Culture Team. This role is Full time and reports to National Learning and Development Manager. The primary purpose of the Training Coordinator is to coordinate the delivery of training and assessment requirements to Qube Bulk employees, contractors, clients, and visitors in line with the Training Plan, and assist with the facilitation of the recruitment and on-boarding process of Qube Bulk employees. This role can be based in either Hendra in Brisbane or Port Adelaide in South Australia.
Key aspects of this role include:

  • Comply with Qube Health Safety and Environment, and Learning Policies and supporting procedures
  • Monitor Training Needs Analysis against Training Matrix to identify and advise on training requirements
  • Liaise with Workforce Planning Manager and Workplace Trainer/Assessor to develop the Training Plan
  • Schedule internal and external training programs and coordinate necessary training resources
  • Monitor the delivery of training and assessment in accordance with the Training Plan
  • Deliver monthly Training Reports on training completion against the Plan
  • Maintain training and assessment records
  • Assist in the development and review of training material as required
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of all training material
  • Coordinate apprentices, trainees, and learners with achievement of progress towards competency in training undertaken
  • Facilitate recruitment of new employees including on-boarding, relevant Qube and Site Inductions, and orientations are completed
  • Facilitate onsite training where required
In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:
  • Experience in a similar capacity within the Transport and Logistics industry
  • Experience in delivering Training to Internal/External stake Holders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Exemplary organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise work demands
  • Demonstrated skills in scheduling and coordination
  • Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
