Hours
Casual working hours:
(Nights 1900 - 2200hrs)
(Weekends 0830 - 1700hrs)
Some weekday work hours may be negotiated.
Travel to training sites other than Regional Training Centres may be required.
DutiesDeliver scheduled training courses to volunteer members within the Tasmania Fire Service. Assist in the timely review and development of training programs and resources. Ensure that TFS volunteers receive a professional and positive training experience.
Essential RequirementsAs a result of a risk assessment process, the Head of Agency gave consideration to where vaccination is a necessary control to protect the health and safety of workers and the community and therefore it has been determined that prior to appointment to these duties a person is to provide evidence that they are vaccinated against the disease known as COVID-19. Please refer to the Statement of Duties for further information.
Desirable RequirementsRelevant experience in an emergency management context is desirable.
Hold a current driver’s licence with ‘Medium Rigid’ endorsement.
