About theposition
We areseeking a Training Support Officer to support our Canberra Training Centre andour course participants. This is apart-time position; however, we will consider a full-time position if you haveadditional skillsets that we can utilise in other areas of our business, suchas social media and/or marketing skills.
Yourresponsibilities will include, but is not limited to:
- Coordinating and organising course sessions, particularlyCanberra courses.
- Providing student support during course sessions.
- Set-up and other classroom preparations for trainingcourses.
- Maintaining training room and office tidiness,including minor cleaning.
- Organise catering for training courses.
- Printing, binding books, and scanning.
- Word-processing and data entry.
- Answering phone calls and providing phone support.
About you
We areseeking a self-starter with good initiatives, that may either be looking at anew career or a change in career in administration. Experience as a Training Support person isnot important; however, you must be keen to learn as full training will beprovided.
You must:
- Live in Canberra – as our training centre is located in Belconnen.
- Have excellent coordination and organisational skills.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Have excellent phone manners.
- Strong computing skills.
- Be able to solve problems quickly and deal with difficult situations as they arise.
- Be flexible when changes occur to get the job done.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Be able to work independently and, at times, on your own.
- Take pride in the work you do.
What weoffer you
Inexchange of your service, we will offer you:
- A competitive salary package of $46,000 - $60,000(pro rata for part-time) plus super.
- A 4-5 weeks of holiday period at the end of thecalendar year as part of our company shut-down period that consists of twoweeks of paid Christmas leave with an additional two weeks of leave for theremainder of the year.
