Transaction Banking SpecialistSee yourself as part of our teamThis role will see you supporting Bendigo, Warragul and Sale as their dedicated Transaction Banking Specialist.Primarily based in Bendigo, being part of our team means you get to enjoy hybrid ways of working because we know life happens. You will bring specialist expertise to originate new-to-bank opportunities, and support our existing clients, with appropriate Transaction Banking solutions for their working capital and cash-flow management needs.You will provide fresh thinking and expertise in key critical areas of our clients’ businesses being working capital management with evolving and innovative Transaction Banking solutions; and industry insights to help our clients navigate changing market conditions.Do work that mattersYou will identify and pursue new business opportunities across multiple Transaction Banking solutions (including Cash Management, Online Banking Platform: CommBiz, Merchant Solutions: Terminals and eCommerce, BPAY, Direct Debit, Corporate Cards and Partnerships) with all Business Banking clients based in Central East Victoria with turnover greater than $3m.Developing close working relationships with key clients of varying complexity and your internal stakeholders, you will use your ability to understand business requirements to provide innovative Transaction Banking solutions.More specifically, you will
- Proactively build a pipeline of new and existing Transaction Banking opportunities
- Have a deep understanding of our Transaction Banking product offerings, and provide innovative solutions to clients
- Engage with relationship teams to review Transaction Banking performance and initiatives to ensure opportunities are being identified and pursued
- Provide support, coaching and education to bankers
- You are an excellent communicator – you have the ability to distil complex requirements down to simple solutions to surprise and delight your clientele
- You’re someone that is passionate about networking and executing new business opportunities
- Success in this role will come from a background in customer service, sales & business development and a drive to develop a solid understanding of our Transaction Banking value proposition
