Job Title: Transaction ManagerBusiness Unit: Integrated Portfolio ServicesDepartment: Government AccountReporting Relationships: Direct Manager: Direct Reports: Senior Transaction Manager (Nil)Location: Melbourne, VICObjective/Accountabilities: As a Transaction Manager, your primary objective is to deliver operational excellence in real estate transaction management services to the client portfolio. You will focus on the transactional and leasing activities within the portfolio and ensure that the services provided are integrated with all other services. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Government to achieve operational efficiencies in the use of properties occupied by client agencies.Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of properties, including critical dates and key lease events, in accordance with client requirements.
  • Negotiate new leases, licenses, and use agreements that align with the service delivery needs of the client.
  • Conduct market rent reviews in compliance with lease agreements and client specifications.
  • Handle make-good negotiations, settlements, and engagements with multiple stakeholders.
  • Conduct thorough market searches, deliver market presentations, and manage administrative leasing requirements.
  • Maintain and update client Occupancy Agreements for all leased properties.
  • Provide property market insights for client reports and presentations.
  • Comply with client approval procedures and maintain confidentiality and audit trails of communications.
  • Prepare and execute new leases, renewal letters, option letters, licenses, and use agreements.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate transactional records.
  • Foster strong client and stakeholder relationships through effective communication and regular meetings.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in property transactions and associated services.
  • Preferred tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate or equivalent.
  • Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration.
  • Ability to handle complex issues within tight operational deadlines.
  • Goal-oriented and focused on meeting performance targets.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
