About the role:
Aurizon are seeking the expertise of a Transformation Specialist to partner with the leadership team in strategic activities to support transformation and continuous improvement within the region. Reporting to the Business Performance Leader you will work with a team of transformational specialists to ensure projects are successfully embedded.
The role will be accountable for:
Leading with the identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvement activities.
Lead the analysis of project and operational requirements, investigate innovative solutions and provide guidance to managers and employees.
Lead and coordinate the review and reporting of initiative progress to senior management and/or stakeholders and ensure ongoing alignment with strategic objectives.
Drive effective working relationships with customers, internal and external clients at a middle management level to ensure improvement initiatives are in keeping with wider business objectives
Drive collaboration across functions and regions to ensure consistent application of improvement activities across the enterprise and standardise
About you:
You are an experienced influencer, able to connect and implement change with a range of stakeholders and environments.
You have experience with identifying and managing risks to mitigate impact to program delivery.
You are values driven and results focused, with the ability to coordinate resources to meet deadlines.
High Level of interpersonal skills to communicate cross functionally.
Effective business acumen, strategic thinking and analytical capability.
Ideally you will have applied process improvement methodologies.
Ideally have knowledge in the rail industry, either operational or maintenance.
Project management experience including PM qualifications would be well regarded
