Consolidate and expand your knowledge, skills and expertise within the perioperative environment at Mercy Hospital for Women, Heidelberg

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Option for a Full Time or Part Time position (30- 38 hours per week)
  • Fixed term 1 year contract commencing May 2024
  • Perioperative Services, Mercy Hospital for Women
  • We will provide experience and tertiary qualifications within the perioperative environment
  • We aim to provide clinically based education and clinically based experiences in Gynaecology, Uro-gynaecology, Gynae-oncology, Reproductive Medicine, Endo-surgery, Obstetrics, Anaesthetics, Post Anaesthetic and Day Surgery nursing

ABOUT YOU:

  • Completion of a graduate year prior to commencement of the program
  • 12-months acute nursing experience recommended
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrated patient focussed approach to providing quality Perioperative Nursing care

Mercy Hospital for Women is a fully accredited Level 6 Public Specialist Teaching Hospital providing both public and private patient care through maternity services, neonatology and paediatrics, perioperative services, gynaecology, women's health and associated health, support and diagnostic services. We are a major teaching hospital and specialist referral centre with the medical, nursing, midwifery and allied health expertise to treat the most complex obstetric, neonatal and gynaecological cases.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
