Our Transport Ticketing solution client is looking for a Transition Manager to deliver the next generation of their services. As the Transition Manager you will play an important part in planning the seamless integration of new hardware and technology solutions into each of the Victorian Public Transport Business.
What you need to succeed:
This role requires strong project management skills, technology implementation and change management experience. There is a large component of stakeholder management, both internally and externally. Past experience working with the Department of Transport and planning as a stakeholder will be advantageous.
Your Role:
In this role you will be responsible for:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive transition plan for the hardware and technology roll-out program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the transition strategy with overall business objectives.
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring milestones are met within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective project execution.
- Work with the Managers to inform change management strategies to facilitate a smooth transition
- Identify potential roadblocks and proactively address resistance to change.
- Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and successes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with the transition process.
- Develop mitigation plans to address identified risks and ensure minimal disruption.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the transition process.
- Develop post-implementation reports and conduct lessons learned sessions.
