AddressElecnor has been contracted to build EnergyConnect, a new 700km Transmission Line extending from Wagga Wagga NSW to the South Australian border.
This backbone infrastructure will connect customers with more renewable energy enabling a further 4950MW of generation capacity, save NSW customers $180 million a year and create 1,500 new construction jobs in regional NSW.
Construction of EnergyConnect is underway in various locations across the project area.
The Role
Elecnor presents an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking to join our team as a Construction Supervisor on a 14/7 roster. This role could be suitable for local candidates in Mildura or Wagga areas, as well as those interested in FIFO opportunities.
As a Construction Supervisor, you'll collaborate with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to effectively deliver Project EnergyConnect.
On a daily basis, you'll actively monitor KPIs and civil activities on designated work fronts, prioritising safety through open communication, understanding, and active participation in safety and quality protocols to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
Primary Accountabilities
- Supervision of the safe delivery of the civil work
- Ensures that allocated resources remain productive
- Promotes proactive Safety and Environmental awareness for all personnel under your supervision
- Reports to the Civil Superintendent all matters relating to the quality elements of construction works
- Direct subcontractors
- Actively participates in developing a construction HSSE culture that makes safety and environmental awareness a natural part of the job
Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years’ relevant supervision experience on tier 1 projects
- Tertiary or industry qualifications or industry experience on construction or engineering projects
- Driver's License
