We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Heart Lung Outpatients Department. The position provides an opportunity to work in the Heart Lung Transplant state-wide service. The position is responsible for our pre- and post- heart lung transplant patients, on-call responsibilities and relevant administrative duties.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Transplant Coordinator/Registered Nurse who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who are dedicated to patient centered care.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
2. Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
3. Minimum 12 months experience in Cardiothoracic nursing
4. Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication tools
5. Demonstrated leadership ability working within the multidisciplinary team
6. Demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
7. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a Registered Nurse
8. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment
