Due to rapid growth we are seeking an experienced Bookings Clerk to join the team!
TNS is a family owned and operated Transport and Logistics company operating as an industry leader throughout Queensland.
Due to continued growth in the business we are seeking an experienced full-time bookings clerk to join our team, based at the Port of Brisbane. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position plays a crucial role in the successful coordination of the businesses day to day operations.
You will be required to draw upon your previous experience to deliver superior support to the business and offer new strategies and initiatives in the bookings area.
A successful applicant will have the ability to work under pressure, and make swift decisions
- Be an efficient planner and organiser
- Current experience in container transport and 1stop is an advantage but not required
- Possess strong computer, numeracy and literacy skills
- Must be a reliable team player and have a strong work ethic as this positions requires flexibility
- Excellent communication skills and driven customer service to maintain and service your customer base
- Position is Monday to Friday, however Saturday morning work is essential (on a roster basis)
- High attention to detail and time management skills are essential to handle multiple tasks
- Driver's license and own transport is required \
- You must be prepared to undergo an Australian Federal Police Criminal History Check and any other relevant authority background checks
