The opportunity:
Tonkin is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing transport team in our Adelaide head office. If you’re experienced, passionate about transport and looking to join an organisation with a positive and supportive workplace culture, you could be a perfect fit!
The successful candidate will help deliver a diverse range of exciting transport infrastructure projects – both in South Australia and around the nation.
In this role you will:
• Provide technical input and direction in the design of transport infrastructure projects
• Lead the delivery of a portfolio of projects
• Undertake internal design and documentation reviews
• Strengthen your network of client relationships to contribute to the positioning and winning of new projects
• Maintain an awareness of innovations and changes to regulations in the industry
• Actively contribute to Tonkin’s pursuit of technical excellence through mentoring early career engineers and contributing to our national technical forums
About you:
To be successful in this role you will be / possess:
• A passion for transport infrastructure projects
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience
• An Engineers Australia recognised degree
• A strong team player mentality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A willingness to contribute to business development activities
