We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our team in Sydney.
Key Activities/Responsibilities
- Supporting the Business Unit Manager in meeting and exceeding customer expectations;
- 1st escalation point for operations with service issues.
- Customer Implementation for Transport Functions within the Business Unit
- Monitoring team KPI’s and reporting to the Business unit Manager / Team
- Driving Auto rating & costing adoption within the business unit
- Induction & training of new staff within the operational area
- Monitoring and acting on WIP's & Accruals.
- Ensure SOP’s are in place for all team accounts, updating as required. As well as identifying areas for improvement and proposing new solutions to the Business unit Manager.
Skills and experience
- 5+ Years industry experience or in a similar role.
- Outstanding people management skills.
- Excellent Time management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience using CargoWise essential.
