Our client, a rapidly growing travel company based in Brisbane, Australia, with overseas operations, is currently seeking a Travel Consultant to join their team before June 30th.

Responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Selling and coordinating transportation, accommodations, insurance, tours, and activities.
• Providing expert advice on destinations, cultures, customs, weather, and activities.
• Handling payments, booking travel arrangements, and managing applicable fees.
• Crafting trip itineraries and making personalized travel arrangements for clients.
• Selling transportation, lodging, and entertainment activities to individuals and groups.

Requirements:

• Preferred experience working in the travel industry or similar.
• Experience traveling to the following destinations, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Borneo, and Thailand.
• High level of resilience, tenacity, and critical thinking.
• Independence and self-motivation for personal and professional development.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience.
• Experience living and/or working in Japan, with a passion for the country and its culture.
• Determination to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Highly organized and productive approach.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
