Travel Registered Nurse | Aged Care

E4 Recruitment is in search of dedicated and empathetic travel nurses to deliver unparalleled care to elderly residents in Aged Care facilities throughout diverse regional destinations in New South Wales. As a Travel Nurse, you'll step into a world of diverse healthcare settings, enabling you to accumulate fresh experiences and enhance your professional competencies

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in Aged Care facilities, including but not limited to administering medications, wound care, and vital signs monitoring.
• Develop and implement care plans based on patient assessments and needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, social workers, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support and education on treatment plans and options.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Aphra Registration 
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Aged Care nursing.
• Excellent clinical skills, including proficiency in administering medications, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel to various locations and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays!
