Omega Medical are hiring Registered Nurses to work in Aged Care facilities on a contract basis. We have client connections all over Australia and right now we are recruiting adventurous, hardworking and compassionate RNs that are looking to travel the country whilst working at Aged Care facilities in need for a period of 4+ weeks.

About us:
Omega Medical specializes in assisting employers to find the medical and healthcare talent required for temporary, locum, or permanent positions.
We take a hands-on approach when working with our nurses, assisting with the onboarding process and offering continuous communication throughout your contracts.
Your duties:
- Work as part of a collaborative team looking after residents and providing high quality Nursing care
- Coordinate completion of care plans, assessments, and clinical documentation
- Liaise with residents, families, and health care professionals.
- Promote a safe working environment for all residents and staff. Work within your scope of practice whilst referring to the professional code on conduct.
- Monitor the quality of resident files, progress notes and observation charts.
- Act as In Charge RN on shift, and report regularly to management.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Masters/Bachelor of Nursing
- At least 6+ months experience as an RN and an understanding of Residential Aged Care.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised.
