Ipsos, Australia's leading Social Research company is currently conducting the Victorian Integrated Survey of Travel & Activity (VISTA).
To ensure the success of the project, we are seeking a team of committed casual field interviewers for a 13-week role from 29th January to 30th April 2024.
As a member of the team, you will play a vital role in the recruitment of selected households, delivery and collection of self-complete Travel Surveys on behalf of the Department of Transport, across the Greater Shepparton Region.
This study has already been successfully running for 15 years in Victoria and data collected contributes to policy development and infrastructure planning.
Paid training will be provided, and there will be potential for high achievers to be trained in supervisory positions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be available to work Saturday AND Sunday, or Sunday AND Tuesday.
- Monday shifts also available.
- MUST have a current driver’s license, the right to work in Australia, and a mobile phone.
- MUST have a reliable vehicle and enjoy driving.
- MUST be available from 29th of January to April 30th 2024.
- Be confident and comfortable approaching households to introduce the survey.
- Be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills.
- Be well-presented and reliable.
- Be comfortable using smart devices (i.e. tablets)
- Sales, Field or Census interviewing experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Benefits
- Hourly rate of $35.79 per hour for fieldwork
- Kilometres travelled paid at $0.91 per km
- Fully paid training.
- Approximately 12-20 hours per week (this will vary from week to week)
