Job description

Meers Recruitment Solutions is currently working with a specialist vehicle Asset Manager, focused on providing Fleet Management Australia wide and due to continued growth are now looking for an experienced new Business Development Manager to expand market presence and brand awareness penetrating new markets. 

This role will suit someone who has successfully developed and implemented B2B sales strategies, is focused on providing solutions that provide value to clients and enjoys partnering to create long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities Include;-

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate customers for the business and a pipeline for continued growth. 
  • Identify sales opportunities and develop and follow through with action plans to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for the company and its customers. 
  • Work with customer and business partners to ensure the smooth on boarding of customers and an exceptional experience is had by the customer. 
  • Capability to manage Tender responses and support the preparation of tender submissions.
  • Display strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to manage numerous opportunities and client relationships simultaneously.
  • Maintain CRM database with all activities and sales forecasts.
  • Work closely with management for reporting to meet targets and KPIs.
  • Attending networking events representing our brand in the market.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Keeping up to date with a comprehensive understanding of emerging fuel technology

To be successful;-

  • Proven track record in Business Development within the Fleet Management and Leasing industry.
  • Proven sales skills with the ability to initiate, create and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Resilience and ability to lead and inspire others.
  • Customer service/relationship management experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
