Treadmill Manager - 13th Beach

Great opportunity to further your career by working with leading Victorian stable near the famed 13th Beach.

Scope of Role: Full-time position with Danny O’Brien Racing - Monday to Saturday mornings and occasional afternoon shifts.

Specific Tasks

• Understanding and Implementing stable treadmill workouts and procedures
• Collect and communicate data surrounding each treadmill workout
• Leading horses to & from treadmill, and general walking
• Oversee treadmill maintenance
• Educate and train other staff about treadmill policies and procedures
• General stable hand duties as required
• Adhere to all policies & procedures outlined in OH&S manual
• Notify trainers/foreperson/office of any incidents, injuries or hazards for both horses and employees. Any other reasonable tasks as directed by Trainer, General Manager & Assistant Trainer

 Requirements

• Horse handling and racing stable experience is essential.
• Reliable, punctual, enthusiastic and self-motivated person that works well within a youthful team environment.
• Excellent communication skills
