Group Treasury Transformation

This is an opportunity to make an impact on a long-term, business-critical project, crucial to maintaining Macquarie's strong, conservative balance sheet. Supported by new data architecture and technology, the program is tasked with transforming the end-to-end capital and liquidity process from the operating model and system-landscape to the relevant calculation and reporting frameworks.

Help transform our Group Treasury function and evolve the future of finance at Macquarie.

What impact will you have?

As the Treasury Transformation Advisor, you will be responsible for:

Provide thought leadership on the 'future of treasury' and the associated future state treasury solutions, capabilities and processes.
Assist the E2E Group Treasury transformation initiative owners in defining the overall strategic direction and target business solution for the Capital and Liquidity Use-Cases as well as any interim states.
Work with and provide strategic guidance to the Product Owner(s) of the new inhouse solutions being developed.
Partner with the lead solution architect to evaluate high level business requirements and define solutions in the form of products and services.
Responsible for establishing the overall architectural vision and coordinating the development of the architecture across the relevant domains.
Align the thinking and development of the Business, Data, and Tech Architectures.
Support the creation of the E2E Group Treasury Transformation solution roadmap.
Collaborate with solution architects to decipher how the different elements of data, process and technology can be applied to form consistent solutions to solve specific business problems
Assess the impacts of the Group Treasury E2E transformation to the GT business capability model and associated future state TOM and business processes.
Ensure big rocks are exposed early and bring expertise from prior experience on data and treasury solution implementations.
What skills will you use?

To be successful in the role, you will bring with you proven experience in delivering complex transformation within a global Treasury function. Other relevant skills and experience will include:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role(s) in complex regulatory / Data change programs of work
  • Strong Financial Product Knowledge
  • Experience in Business Architecture Design / Implementation and Data Architecture Design / Implementation
  • Experience with design / Implementation of Treasury Solutions/ Systems
  • Ideally a Consulting background within the Financial Services sector
