About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Trials (Research) Agronomist to utilise their skills and experience and continue to grow with us. You will be working as part of our dedicated team of research agronomists and field technicians and be responsible for:

• Establishing and maintaining relationships with growers and clients;
• Managing a trial load and clients of your own.
• Complying with protocol objectives;
• Operating agricultural machinery;
• Statistic and data interpretation.

Due to the nature of the role, there will be requirements for some overnight travel and additional work hours during peak periods. 

Remuneration will be based on the skills and experience you bring to Kalyx.

About You:

The role will suit a highly organised and driven individual with a passion for agriculture. You will also:

• Have tertiary qualifications in Agricultural or Horticultural Science (or similar);
• Have demonstrated experience in conducting a field trial program;
• Enjoy problem solving;
• Be curious and self-motivated;
• Be flexible and open to changing situations;
• Enjoy working within a team and autonomously;
• Hold a strong reputation in the industry with existing industry networks.
