Truck and Dog Fuel Tanker Driver

We are seeking an experienced Truck and Dog driver to join our Townsville team. From time to time, this role will require driving overnight trips on an ad hoc basis. 

Reporting to the Townsville Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the safe delivery of fuel to various customers predominately west of Townsville.

Roster: Permanent Day shift

Tasks and Responsibilities

• BFM compliance
• Deliveries to Depots, Retail, Industrial, Mine & Rural/Farm sites
• Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment
• Develop, grow and maintain good relationships with our customers
• Ensure compliance and safety is adhered to at all times
• Operate HV trucks - pre-start checks, load at terminals, and deliver fuels to customers in a safe, timely and accurate manner

Ideally you will have:

• Valid HC licence
• DG license (or able to obtain)
• MT Data (an advantage)
• HV driving experience
• Fuels experience (an advantage)
• Excellent driving history (traffic history report to be provided prior to commencement)
• BFM Statement of Attainment preferred
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Good customer service skills
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Good numeracy skills
