Truck Driver

Start Date: ASAPPay Rate: $35-$40/hr Benefits: Local runs & Meal allowance Job Description: A position is available for a suitably experienced MC driver to join a local hay and transport company near Katunga, VIC. Majority of the work is carting hay from the farm to buyers within the region, as well as the occasional interstate run. The client also haul centre pivot irrigators and other ag machinery at times to NSW and QLD.

Applicants will only be away from home one to two nights per week, with a meal allowance provided for those trips. The candidate will possess a clean driving record, and will need to be mechanically minded and able to operate a front end loader. The flexibility to be there for a short stint throughout the season, or become a permanent member of the company are both on offer.

Accommodation is not provided on farm, therefore someone who is travelling with a caravan, or a local candidate would be best suited to this position. Remuneration will be $35-$40/hr depending on experience. ?Applicants are expected to work well within a team, and help out with other operations on farm if need be.
