In this role, you'll:
- Operate Light and Medium Rigid vehicles (with a GVM of greater than 4.5 tonnes) as an MR Truck Driver for the Maintenance & Construction Crew.
- Tow any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow.
- Carry out general road worker labouring duties of a Road Worker Grade 3.
- Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools when not operating the Truck.
- In addition to the above, the trucks operated by this position may include water tankers and Flocon Trucks (asphalt transport).
- Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise.
- Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards.
- We are seeking those that reside within a 100 km distance from the Mardi depot.
- Work either a 9 Day Fortnight or a 19 Day Month.
- We have multiple opportunities across our Maintenance and Construction Crews based in Mardi for experienced MR GangTruck Drivers.

About you
We are looking for experienced Truck Drivers who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free workplace for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.
- White Card
- MR Driver Licence
- Labouring experience in a construction or civil environment and experience and understanding of local road networks across the district.
- You will live within 100 km radius of the Mardi works depot.
- Whilst not required, experience in operating a TMA is advantageous.
