About the Position
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Driver/Operator to join our team at Baron Insulation Keysborough. We are looking for someone who has experience in all aspects of driving and manufacturing. This role will see you working across multiple areas of the business and often working through the full lifecycle of the process from Production operating, picking orders, and loading trucks to delivering to our clients.
Although this is a hands-on role there are also administrative duties so accuracy, attention to detail, and making sure schedules are up to date are very important. Baron Prides itself on its culture so we are looking for someone energised, innovative, and enjoys working with a diverse and close-knit team. We have a strong focus on safety, and we want the newest member of our team to share the same passion to EHS.
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in Manufacturing or Production
- Have exposure to working machinery
- The ability to lift heavy items - Safety guidelines in place
- Strong focus on Quality Assurance
- Hold a Current MR License & Forklift License
- Ability to load/unload products onto trucks and transport safely
- Understanding of EHS and compliance in the workplace
- Previous exposure to pre-start checks on vehicles
- Showcase your customer service skills when working with customers
- Confident with IT Systems, Excel, and ERP systems
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Effective time management skills
- Not afraid to work in other areas of the business
- Supportive, caring, and hands-on Manager
