We are seeking a values-driven Truck Driver, Warehouse and Retail Assistant who will be based at Ingham Family Store and will be responsible for handling the movement of goods in and out of the Airlie Family Store. The role will also provide warehouse assistance, inclusive of truck driving, and Retail assistance, at AirlieFamily Store on Saturday and assist in the overall productivity of the Family Stores, in line with TSA mission.
You will successfully- Undertake the pickup and delivery of all goods in accordance with the written schedule as per WH&S Manual Handling procedures and other policies and procedures.
- Maintain stock to required standards and ensure goods are stored appropriately.
- Operate the company vehicle in a safe and effective manner in order to minimise the risk of injury, property damage, loss of life and ensure appropriate maintenance/service and cleanliness of vehicle inside/outside.
- Ensure timely removal of soiled rubbish and bins to refuse centre.
- In collaboration with the Store Manager ensure all donated goods are stored in a Safe/Secure area and triaged to the various departments for processing.
- Provide retail floor assistance as needed including sorting, pricing, moving stock and front counter service, tiding retail floor, present items fit for sale to stores.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and provide appropriate assistance when collecting donated goods, working on the shop floor, fitting room, the register or anywhere else as reasonably required.
- Support the management of Volunteers in an efficient and courteous environment that fosters a productive experience for donors and Volunteers alike.
This is a part-time (12hrs per week), permanent position located in Ingham, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the General Retail Award Level 3 Award.
You will have- Minimum 2yrs experience in driving/operating commercial vehicles.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
- Competent computer skills and ability to use software applications to complete work and training goals.
- Current valid Driver's MR or HR lLicence.
- A reasonable level of fitness in order to carry out the duties of the position. This position will require physical ability to stand, sit and walk for long periods time. The role will require you to push, pull, lift, carry, restrain stock and climb ladders etc. such work will be undertaken in accordance with WH&S policies and procedures.
