Your Role
- Drive a company vehicle to pick up and welcome all new employees
- Induct and familiarise new employees with Hamilton Island policies and procedures, and their new island home
- Facilitate Learning and Development training initiatives for new and existing employees
- Complete a variety of administrative functions across the Human Resources (HR) division
- Coordinate a compliance spreadsheet to track Hamilton Island Enterprises requirements for all associated divisions
- Provide administrative support to Learning & Development, with a focus on funding and fee reconciliation and budgetary guidelines
- Actively participate in team and departmental activities including meetings, cross-functional projects, support and training
- Coordinate any required business communication, room bookings, and catering for the division
- Provide administrative support for the Learning & Development team as required and agreed upon by the Learning & Development Director
- Support the General Manager of HR with any administrative functions for on-boarding and Employee Relations
About You
- Hold an Open Queensland Drivers Licence (Essential)
- Be eligible to obtain a Restricted Drivers Authority (must have held drivers licence for 3 continuous years) (Essential)
- Minimum 18 months in a Human Resource / Administration or similar role (Essential)
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook (Essential)
- Certificate IV in Business / HR (Desirable to hold or be willing to undertake study)
