SalaryWe are now recruiting a Yard Hand/Truck Washer for Westar Trucks in Derrimut.
About the role:
- Clean/wash the interior and exterior of trucks, including cleaning, washing, and vacuuming
- Yard hand duties include general basic maintenance of the facility, movement of vehicles
- Maintain clean workspace
- Ad hoc duties throughout the workshop, adding value to the dealership while developing your skills/experience
About you:
- Previous dealership experience in a similar role is desirable
- Current VIC Drivers Licence (truck licence ideal)
- If you don't have a truck licence, you will be eligible and interested in gaining one.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under various weather conditions
- Previous experience in a hands-on role that required physical labour
- Ability to follow procedures and adhere to company guidelines and standards
On offer:
- Approx $27 to $30 per hour, negotiated on experience
- Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4.06 pm, overtime available, including some half-day Saturdays
