As their Trust Accountant you'd be managing a combined rent roll of approximately 2,000 managements including a small commercial portfolio, you'd be working within an experienced accounts team, specifically managing the Property Management Trust Account for two of their Inner West offices.
Responsibilities will include:
- Tenant rent receipting
- Daily reconciliations
- Creditor and landlord disbursements (twice weekly)
- End of month and Mid-Month processes. Checking landlord payments methods, check statements and check fees
- Landlord outgoings and redirections
- Process of change of ownership in PropertyTree
- Adjust ledgers and rent as required
- Bond reconciliation
- Allocate unallocated funds and tenant reimbursements
- Add owner, property, and creditor files
- Amend files (i.e., change owner bank account details)
- Creditor and tenant invoice entry
- Send client statements, printing and posting of owner/creditor statements/remittances
- Process invoices through PropertyTree
- Submit reporting to management
- System Auditing
Experience required:
- A current NSW Real Estate license
- Previous experience using PropertyTree
- Excellent communication skills
- Highly problem solving abilities, organised and strong attention to detail
