Tug Driver

Lindsay Transport is currently looking for an experienced TUG Driver to join the Perth depot on a night shift basis. HC licence is essential!

The Role:
Lindsay Transport is currently seeking a TUG driver with an HC licence to join the team at our depot in Perth on a full-time basis.
Starting time will be 1am. If you are a driver that takes pride in their work and are looking for a stable long-term career in transport, we encourage you to apply for this role.
Primary duties of the role include:

• Driving the Tug Truck around the depot
• Hooking and unhooking trailers
• Frequently climbing in and out of the TUG
• Backing singles
• Coordinating drivers within the yard
• Communicating effectively via 2-way radio

The candidates we are looking for will have;

• A current HC drivers licence and experience in this licence class
• TUG Driving Experience preferred however not necessary as training will be provided
• Swing Lift Experience (not essential but a willingness to learn)
• Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred)
• Experience transporting chilled freight, frozen freight
• A commitment to workplace health and safety (essential)

To be successful for this role applicants must;

• Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
• Provide a current traffic print out
