Job description

Job Requisition ID: 35060

  • Receive unparalleled professional development through our year-round graduate learning academy
  • Be part of Australia's largest cohort of graduates - meaning you'll have a community of other grads to lean on and learn from!
  • Build your skills on real client work and purpose-led projects
Do you have a finance, commerce, engineering, accounting or legal background and want to get involved in helping distressed businesses fix, sell or close their operations?
We won't give you a career path - we'll help you shape your own. It's your time to explore and advance in the areas you find inspirational. Expect purpose, progression, and making an impact that matters. Your story is just beginning, and your green dot is what you make of it.
What will your typical day look like?
What sets Deloitte apart is the amount of trust and responsibility we give each member of the team from the moment they start. In the Turnaround & Restructuring team, you'll get to contribute to a range of solutions for underperforming businesses. Every project is meaningful as we help clients navigate through formal and informal restructures and insolvency processes to protect and maximise their positions. Pretty cool, right?
Who will you be working with?
We flourish in the unexpected, specialising in offering restructuring advice to companies facing corporate distress or disruption. Never settling for “good enough”, we craft creative, tailored solutions for underperforming businesses. We're responsible for conducting lending reviews, formal insolvency, debt and capital restructures, as well as turnaround services to a variety of businesses.
Enough about us, let's talk about you.
You are someone who:
  • Is in their final year or has recently completed a degree / major in Accounting, Business, Commerce, Engineering, Finance or Law
  • An inquisitive nature and an insatiable hunger to learn more
  • Possesses strong analytical and/or quantitative skills
  • Looking to pursue postgraduate study (eg. CA) - in which you will have our 100% support!
  • Has Australian permanent residency or Australian/New Zealand Citizenship
Why Deloitte?
At Deloitte, we focus our energy on interesting and impactful work. We're always learning, innovating and setting the standard; making a positive difference to our clients and our society. We put coaching at the heart of what we do, helping our people grow their careers in any direction - whether it be up, moving into something new, or even moving across the world.

We prioritise flexibility and choice. At Deloitte, you get trust on Day 1. We know our people get their best work done when they're in control of where and how they work, designing their work week around their client, team and personal commitments.
We help you live and work well. To support your personal and professional life, we offer a range of perks and benefits, including retail discounts, wellbeing leave, paid volunteering days, twelve flexible working options, market-leading parental leave and return to work support package.
