The role: Tutor Sonographer
Due to our growth within the Gippsland region, we are hiring a dedicated Tutor Sonographer to drive our best-in-class Ultrasound Training program, which has enjoyed great success in our Melbourne metro clinics.
You will be based across our established clinic in Drouin and the brand-new state-of-the-art clinic in Warragul, where we offer a wide range of ultrasound services, including general abdominal, gynaecologic, small parts, vascular and MSK imaging.
As part of this role, you will also have your own case load to manage, providing high quality sonographic examinations to a broad patient mix ensuring patient comfort, welfare, and safety in line with established practice, policies, and procedures.

What experience do I have?
At Imaging Associates we’re patient-first and it’s important to us that our patients feel personally cared for. We are looking for the following skills and qualities:
- Previous experience in tutoring or mentoring with a focus on improving clinical knowledge, scan quality and patient interaction.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to individual learning needs whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated passion for clinical excellence with a broad knowledge and skill set in advanced ultrasound imaging.
- Up to date knowledge of current literature and best practice guidelines.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to effectively communicate and adapt to individual learning needs.
- Postgraduate qualification in Sonography and ASAR accreditation.
- Experience in the setup, delivery, or implementation of a training program (highly regarded).
