We are currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officers to join our Tweed City team on a Full-Time, Part- Time or Casual basis.

If you are new to the security industry and are willing to learn new skills, Trident is more than happy to support you in your training towards your Certificate II or III in Security Operations.

The Position
As the Retail Security Officer you will be responsible for:
- Provide high quality customer service front line service and support.
- Risk identification and issue resolution
- Reporting and recording incidents and various other activities whilst on shift
- Responding to all medical and security incidents
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Responding to emergency events in accordance with site systems and processes
- Developing an understanding of conflict resolution and de-escalation
- Ensure the protection of property and persons, the prevention of crime, the preservation of the peace and the protection of information.
- Provide the appropriate level of prevention, intervention, investigation, reporting and recording of crime within the precinct as defined by law – including, but not limited to theft, wilful damage, assault, trespass and public nuisance offences.
- Officers, ensuring that best practice is always adopted.
- Provide first response to all emergency situations.
Skills and Experience
You will have:
- Security Licence with 1A New South Wales
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Moderate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Outlook)
- Sound word processing skills with ability to write clear, articulate and factual incident reports and update and maintain shift logs.
- Demonstrated security experience, or translatable real-world skills/experience
- Physical fitness (expect to walk around 30,000 steps per shift).
- Driver's license and own, reliable transport
