About the role-
The Good Guys web platform is undergoing a digital transformation project. In this role, you’ll be working with the project team to shape the digital experience for The Good Guys website
Responsibilities:
- Practice user-centred design to ensure the customer is brought into the design process at every stage.
- Work closely with IT, Developers and Testers to improve the brand experience online for customers.
- Deploy design-thinking tools and techniques to perform customer research and user experience testing, user requirements analysis - including gathering insights, and creating user scenarios and task analysis.
- Analyse user feedback and activity and iterating to enhance the user experience.
- Conduct customer journey mapping including visual and interactive design to ensure the final product experience is easily understood.
- Participate and work with Customer Insights and Digital Optimisation Team in developing measurement frameworks, data collection mapping and analysis for CRO.
- Participate in competitor and customer analysis to develop solutions to improve customer engagement, problems and drive sales growth.
- Lead and work with the digital delivery and Digital Optimisation Team in AB/multivariant testing to refine the live customer experience and develop customer value proposition.
- Conduct usability testing, user requirements analysis including creating user scenarios and task analysis.
- Work within agile delivery teams and understand the methodologies and knowledge of integrating research into agile workflows such as Scrum and Kanban
- Provide final detailed UI design and work with delivery team to bring the final product to live.
About you:
- A relevant tertiary qualification- previous experience in a similar role in Marketing, Communications or IT with an in-depth knowledge of website development.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
- Strong visual communication skill with technical expertise in Figma
- Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, and usability
- Effective communication skills to articulate design decisions, present findings, and collaborate with business, technical team members, and end users.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritise multiple tasks to achieve targets in a timely and accurate manner autonomously or under minimal supervision.
