Located in our Northern Region, a permanent full-time opportunity exists for a Sonographer to the next step in their career to Sonographer Coordinator. Taking on the lead sonographer role within the Northern Region you will work alongside the Chief Technologist and Area Clerical Supervisor to set the standards for providing a patient focused healthcare service across 3 sites. These sites will include the new Northern Private Hospital, new La Trobe Private Hospital and our well-established community centre, Epping Consulting Centre. Duties will include rostering, managing leave, collaborating with Site Sonographer Supervisors, mentoring junior staff, participating in hiring and developing your Sonographer team. As well as working closely with the Senior Leadership team, maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers. The role is Monday to Friday, working between 8:00am- 6pm, with occasional weekend work.

To be successful:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise busy workload
- Provide training to staff and assist with managing a practice
- Capable of working independently and in a team
- Demonstrated experience exceeding patient care and customer service delivery standards
- Min. 5 years US
- ASAR Accreditation
- Understanding of relevant WHS practices.
- Vaccinations including COVID-19 and flu shot
- Driver's license
