About the role
The Unaccredited Radiology Registrar is responsible to the Campus Clinical Head, SAMI TQEH for delivering medical imaging services of the highest possible standard to SAMI patients both in terms of individual performance and by contributing to a multi-disciplinary approach to the delivery of patient care, teaching and research.
Specifically, this position is primarily responsible for assisting in the provision of general Medical Imaging services at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. At the request of the Campus Clinical Head, you may be required to deliver Medical Imaging services at a variety of SAMI locations, including (but not limited to) the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
The position is designed to provide you with exposure throughout the Radiology Department and should allow you to develop the knowledge base, clinical competencies, practical procedure skills, research basics and self-education habits needed to begin your career in Radiology in South Australia. You will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical and academic team.
While this position is based in a RANZCR accredited training facility, it is not an accredited training position nor is it affiliated with the (accredited) RANZCR training program.

Essential Requirements:
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
