About the Position
A key role within our finance team, you'll collaborate closely with our team of accountants and payroll professionals, you'll work closely with our Financial Controller and CFO, to master the ins and outs of management accounting and KPI reporting. This full-time role offers ample opportunities for professional growth, with support for further studies encouraged. Your responsibilities will include:
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial modelling
- Monthly reconciliation and reporting
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Payroll support
- Bank reconciliation and reporting
- Tax compliance (BAS, IAS, FBT, ITR)
- Year-end audits and financial reporting
- ASIC compliance
- Assisting management with ad-hoc tasks
- Plus, any supplementary duties that arise.
About You
This position is Ideal for recent graduates or those nearing completion of their university studies, this position would be bolstered by someone with practical experience (for example in public practice wanting to gain valuable commercial experience). Your skills and experience should include:
- Intermediate MS Excel skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite
- Familiarity with PowerBI, advantageous but not essential
- Precision and discretion
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A knack for team work
- Past experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential.
