Underground Fitter (Cook Colliery)

• FIFO Market Rate Allowance paying $13K per annum
• DIDO Market Rate Allowance paying $21K per annum
• Secure work up to 4 years + 2 / Permanent Position
• Return flights fully funded Brisbane to Emerald
• 7/7 Equal time roster 
• Camp and meals provided in Blackwater or $6K per annum Local Living Allowance 

About the opportunity:

Hitting first coal in February 2022 was a huge milestone for our Mastermyne Coal Operations and we’re continuing to build our Cook Colliery project team. Everyone on the operation will play an important part in its success, regardless of their role.  We have a unique positive culture, and no team member is left behind. Our preference is always to live locally to the mine operation and there’s benefits available to incentivise those who live in, or would like to relocate to the beautiful Central Highlands.  Flights will be provided to those who chose to reside in southeast Queensland.

Skills and experience required are:

• • Demonstrated Underground Coal experience in a similar role with a focus on Cut & Flit / Development work is advantageous.
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate;
  • Standard 11 Statement of Attainment;
  • Current Section 4 Health Assessment Report;
  • Valid Driver’s Licence;
  • Signed copies of training transcripts and / or authorisations.
