Underground Mobile Maintenance Supervisor

Experienced Mobile Maintenance Supervisor position available.

With Tomingley Gold Operations expanding and new positions being created we are seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Supervisor for our Underground hard rock operation. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead, coach and develop team members by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance and mentoring others
• Organising, resourcing, and providing technical advice, leadership as well as direction to the workshop crew;
• Provide practical input into the content related to the maintenance plan to deliver effective outcomes
• Ensure that work is completed within allowed budget and resources
• Assist the Superintendent in implementing safety plans, business improvements and minor projects.
• Play an active role in all incident investigations
• Develop and strengthen key internal and external stakeholder relationships

To be considered you will have:

• Demonstrated Leading Hand/Supervisor experience in Heavy Mobile Maintenance
• Heavy Mechanical trade certificate or tertiary qualification in relevant maintenance or asset management fields 
• Experience working with Underground Mining Equipment
• Strong written and oral communications
• Demonstrated commitment to safety culture and values
• Solid understanding of Maintenance and Asset Management principles 
• Proficient user of Microsoft suite and CMMS systems (SAP, Pronto, Oracle)

A very competitive salary package will be offered proportionate to the successful applicant’s qualifications, knowledge and experience. A functional/medical assessment and a national crime check will form part of the recruitment process

About Us

Tomingley Gold Mine, owned and operated by Alkane Resources Ltd, is situated near the village of Tomingley, 50 km south of Dubbo in Central New South Wales. Our current operation runs an underground mine, and processing plant that is responsible for producing gold bullion on-site. The mine's workforce consists of over 250 permanent employees who hold various roles in professional, technical, mining, processing, and trades.

One significant development for the Tomingley Gold Mine is the approval for the expansion of both open-cut and underground mines, located 3 km to the south of the existing Tomingley deposits. This development approval and expansion takes the mine life beyond 2031.

Please note: Tomingley Gold Operations is located 50km South of Dubbo in Central West NSW. We are a residential mine that does not facilitate FIFO or DIDO and if not living in the local area, relocation will be required.
