Form of workProtech Personnel seek urgent applications for exciting FIFO Nipper opportunities at Newmont's Tanami Operations based in the Northern Territory.

Situated 540km northwest of Alice Springs, Newmont's Tanami Operations provides a fully equipped 1200-bed village, 40km from the mine and boasts a range of modern leisure facilities available to the workforce.
About the role:
• Delivery and pick up of equipment such as tools, piping, services, and anything else that is needed for the smooth operation of the Underground Mine.
• Removal of waste items from Underground workings to waste dumps.
• Assisting Jumbo Operators with bolting and meshing as required.
• Set up headings with bolts and mesh and assist service crew when possible.
About you:
• Previous underground mining experience highly regarded.
• Experience working as an Underground Nipper. Others with a trade or primary industry experience can be considered.
• Current Manual Driver's License is essential.
• Possess a Dangerous Goods Card (desirable).
• Working at Heights and Confined Space.
• Apply First Aid is an asset.
Duration:
6 months casual contract with the possibility of on-going permanent role

ASAP / Immediate
Roster:
This role is offered on a 2;2 roster, 7 days on 7 nights on. This is a FIFO role from DRW, ASP, BNE, and PER.

To be successful you must be able to pass a mining medical and security assessment including, but not limited to, functional capacity, drug & alcohol, criminal check, audio and spirometry testing.
