are seeking applicants for positions vacant with our client, a reputable mining company near Charters Towers. We are looking for Nippers to join the development team.Local residents of Charters Towers are encouraged to apply.
For this opportunity, you must already be local to the region, be looking to relocate or be willing to organise own accommodation in Charters Towers while working on roster, as no accommodation is provided.
Temp to Perm opportunity for the right candidate.
About The Job
- Underground labourer duties
- Off siding the development jumbo operator, de-rig, re-rig and load bolts on the boom as required
- Assist and installing ground support infrastructure
- Remove and clean up of all waste from work areas
- Prior experience in mining (preferable)
- First Aid (Preferable)
- Working at heights (preferable)
- Have an excellent attitude towards work and strong work ethic
- Strong safety standards
- Hold the desire to work in the underground hard rock mining sector long term
- Must be fit and able to work in hot and humid conditions
- Be reliable and punctual nature
- Will be able to pass PEM , DAS and Police Check
- Hold current (Manual) Drivers Licence
- $47.50 per hour flat rate
- Transfer to client after 3 months on offer for the right workers
- Lifestyle Roster 7/7 - rotating day/night shifts
