We bring together a team of specialist Underwriters and contemporary electronic delivery systems which are supported by our commitment to personal service provided by true insurance professionals who care about our Broker relationships.
The Role
As part of our Commercial team, your primary purpose will be to Underwrite the 360 Commercial product via the intermediated market; providing Solutions and service to our broker partners
Key Responsibilities:
Underwriting the 360 Commercial product via the intermediated market;
Adherence to underwriting strategies within targeted industries and occupations;
Excellence in adhering to underwriting guidelines and standards;
Delivery of sustainable growth through strategic planning and partnerships;
Delivery of service and solutions as per our customer commitments;
Supporting the team to ensure that a culture of collaboration exists throughout the company.
The Successful Candidate will have:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Underwriting, Broking or similar role
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Commercial Property Underwriting experience
High level of initiative and ability to think constructively and presenting improvements to the job
Ability to work collaboratively within our team, as well as autonomously and proactively with minimal supervision to achieve goals
Effective time management to ensure work is complete efficiently and effectively
Ability to negotiate with, influence and maintain Broker relationships
