About the role - We are seeking a Uniform Shop Assistant to run our onsite Uniform Shop.
Duties will include:
- Customer service, sales, stock control, quality control and stocktake
- Checking deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
- Collecting, processing and distributing orders to students and parents
- End of day totals and banking
- Processing second hand items for sale on consignment and processing payment after sale of second hand items
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
About you - You will display:
- proven organisational skills, initiative and enthusiasm
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- work effectively independently as well as part of a team
- Retail experience and knowledge of Excel and point of sale systems will be highly regarded.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
