ABOUT THE JOB:
- Collaborating with user researchers and a Product Manager to deeply understand user needs, behaviours, and challenges.
- Working in tandem with the product manager to grasp requirements and business limitations.
- Work with other designers to conceptualise and prototype solutions that effectively address core user needs and issues.
- Ensuring all designs are accessible and adhere to user-centered design principles and accessibility standards.
- Working closely with developers to understand technical limitations and create detailed interaction specifications for implementation.
- Maintaining a comprehensive perspective of the User Experience to ensure consistency and coherence across the platform.
- Maintain internal design systems to ensure long-term consistency across the platform.
THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE:
- Demonstrates a strong ability to create and iterate intuitive and engaging User Experiences that meet the needs and expectations of users, all while complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Has a deep understanding of design tools, along with the flexibility to produce designs at varying fidelity levels.
- Familiarity with the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
